we are planning to have a GECO chalet this year again! we need to know when will you all be free.. so vote!

for the venue, we might be choosing back the one tat we booked last time. haha =D unless you all got a better venue for us to have the chalet =D=D

HELLOOOO!
YEC(youth executive club) from toa payoh west CC will be having BGM(biannual general meeting) on 26sept! on a sat and we are inviting all PA youth, or ANY youth aging between 12 to 35 to join us in the ceremony(
yes you are still counted as a youth if you are 35 this year =X).. time date and venue :
Date: 26 September 2009
Time: 10am
Venue: The Cathay (Handy Road, near Dhoby Ghaut Mrt)
Movie: WhiteOut
the movie will be free.. you all just need to book ticket from me by next wed latest.. i got around 30 tickets with me now =)

如果你以为二胡是老一辈的玩意儿，那你就错了！对今年仅18岁的二胡青年才子钟旺龙而言，二胡可是他生活中不可分割的"伴侣"。
7岁开始拉二胡，10岁考获中国中央音乐学院的9级文凭，旺龙是有史以来最年轻的本地得主。
"二胡让我能够通过音乐表达自己的喜怒哀乐，更让我奏出很多自己喜欢的音乐。"目前就读华侨中学的旺龙演出经验丰富，同时参加多个本地和国际二胡比赛，获奖无数。2007年，他参加中国中央电视台的民族器乐电视大赛，更以99.06的高分拿下海外少年拉弦组冠军。
在漫长的学习过程中，他遇过不少挫折。" 最令我难忘的是10岁考二胡九级文凭那年；由于考级的曲子很难，我边练琴边流泪。"回想起那段日子，旺龙觉得有点可笑，但他坦言熬过那段时间可不简单！
以前表演前，旺龙总会担心表演不理想以致非常紧张；后来他领悟，紧张或许会把事情弄巧成拙。他说："学习二胡让我领悟一个道理，就是处事要用平常心。以平常心处事、全力以赴才能表现更好；一昧的紧张或许只增加不必要的压力。"
每次表演都有朋友与家人的捧场，确实鼓舞旺龙。"这种力量是言语无法形容，我常叫他们我的‘粉丝'，也非常感激他们一路来给我的支持。
去年的《青春展才艺》中，旺龙表演二胡独奏歌曲《草原新牧民》，战友许文俊以扬琴伴奏。对于参加演出，旺龙表示很值得。"最重要的是我能显出我的力量为慈善献一份力，帮助社会中一些需要帮助的族群。"
来临的《清楚展才艺》，他鼓励大家参与。"这不仅能实现个人上台表演的目标，也能完成一件有意义的事，而且排练时间主办单位也很热心，十分友善，所以这是一个难逢的机会！"
